RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM INFORMASI BUKU TAMU DENGAN FITUR QR CODE DI POLITEKNIK ‘AISYIYAH PONTIANAK MENGGUNAKAN RAPID APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT (RAD)

Politeknik 'Aisyiyah Pontianak still uses a handwritten notebook to record guest visits, so data cannot be stored, managed, or retrieved. This manual recording process causes visit data management to become disorganized, when data from previous periods needs to be retrieved. Based on this problem, this study aims to design and develop a web-based guest book information system with a QR Code feature at Politeknik 'Aisyiyah Pontianak. The development method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD), consisting of requirements gathering, system design, construction, and testing stages. The system was built using the PHP programming language, the Laravel framework, and a MySQL database. The system includes features for guest registration, recording check-in and check-out times, QR Code scanning, email notification, and management of visit data by the Admin. System testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method on all features, including login, guest registration, QR Code scanning, check-in and check-out recording, and visit data management, involving the Admin as respondent. The test results show that all system features function according to their design and achieved a 100% success rate in every tested scenario. These results indicate that the developed system can replace the manual recording process previously used at Politeknik 'Aisyiyah Pontianak. With this system, guests can complete visit data digitally through available devices, while the Admin can record, store, and manage visit data through one integrated system. The system stores visit data over a long period, allowing it to be retrieved as needed, without depending on paper-based recording as before
