PERANCANGAN DAN IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM INFORMASI PEMILIHAN TEMPAT PRAKTIK KERJA LAPANGAN (PKL) BERBASIS WEBSITE PADA POLITEKNIK ‘AISYIYAH PONTIANAK MENGGUNAKAN METODE RAPID APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT (RAD)

Politeknik 'Aisyiyah Pontianak still faces problems in the internship (PKL) placement selection process, which is currently carried out manually, making it difficult for students to obtain placement information and for admins to manage scattered, non-centralized application data. This study aims to design and implement a web-based PKL Placement Information System (SIPKL) using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which consists of four stages: requirements planning, system design, system construction, and system implementation. The system was built using PHP Native and MySQL, and provides features for online PKL placement submission, supervisor selection, daily logbook recording and monitoring by supervisors, application-status notifications, PDF logbook report printing, and data verification by the admin. System testing was carried out using BlackBox Testing on 37 test scenarios, all of which were declared valid. The results show that the developed system helps students select PKL placements more effectively and in an organized manner, while helping admins manage PKL data more quickly, accurately, and centrally, making it a viable digital solution to support PKL management at Politeknik 'Aisyiyah Pontianak.
