HUBUNGAN NETROFIL TO LIMFOSIT RASIO DAN TROMBOSIT PADA PASIEN DEMAM BERDARAH DENGUE (DBD) DI KECAMATAN SUNGAI RAYA KABUPATEN KUBU RAYA

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever remains a public health problem in Indonesia, including Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency. One of the hematological parameters that can be used to assess the inflammatory response in DHF patients is the Neutrophil to Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR). Changes in NLR values are thought to be associated with decreased platelet counts, which are a major manifestation in DHF patients. This study aimed to determine the relationship between Neutrophil to Lymphocyte Ratio and platelet count in patients with Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency. This study used a descriptive analytic design with cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 46 DHF patients obtained using total sampling techniques based on medical record data from January to December 2025. The collected data included neutrophil, lymphocyte, and platelet counts. The NLR value was calculated by dividing the neutrophil count by the lymphocyte count. Data analysis was performed using the Spearman Rank correlation test with a significance level of p < 0,05. Spearman correlation analysis indicated a significant relationship between NLR and platelet count in DHF patients with p = 0.011 (p < 0.05) and a correlation coefficient of r = 0.372, indicating a weak positive correlation.
