Abstract
This study aims to analyze the relationship between patients in Pal Sembilan, Kubu Raya. The research method used was observational analytic with a cross-sectional approach, involving 36 patients undergoing OAT therapy. Hemoglobin levels were measured using a Hematology Analyzer. The results showed that the average hemoglobin level in patients was 11.919 g/dl, with a variation between 10.4 g/dl and 14.9 g/dl. Statistical tests showed a significant relationship between hemoglobin levels and patients taking OAT (p = 0.040). This study can also reflect the accumulation of effects of various factors during the therapy process. The longer a patient is in the treatment phase, the greater the possibility of exposure to drug side effects, chronic inflammatory conditions, and ongoing nutritional disorders. This study is expected to provide useful information for medical personnel and students to improve their understanding of the effect of OAT on hemoglobin levels in pulmonary tuberculosis patients. With proper monitoring and treatment, it is hoped that patients' quality of life can improve, and the effectiveness of OAT therapy can be maintained
