HUBUNGAN PRESISI DAN AKURASI QUALITY CONTROL PEMERIKSAAN TRIGLERESIDA TERHADAP KINERJA ANALITIK PEMERIKSAAN TRIGLISERID DI UPT LABORATORIUM KESEHATAN DAERAH KABUPATEN KETAPANG

Clinical laboratory examinations play a crucial role in disease diagnosis, therapy monitoring, and prevention. Triglyceride testing is an important parameter in assessing the risk of cardiovascular diseases; therefore, it requires accurate and precise results in every measurement. This study aimed to determine the relationship between precision and accuracy of Quality Control in triglyceride testing and analytical performance at the UPT Laboratorium Kesehatan Daerah. This study was conducted from January to March 2026 using an observational analytic design with a retrospective approach based on internal QC data from 2025. The sample consisted of 118 QC data that met the inclusion criteria. The analyzed parameters included precision (CV%), accuracy (bias), and analytical performance (sigma metrics). Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate methods, including the Shapiro–Wilk test and Spearman correlation. The results that the CV% was 3.70%, bias was 0.66%, and analytical performance was 6.58, all categorized as very good. There was a significant relationship between precision and analytical performance (r = -0.986; p = 0.001), as well as between accuracy and analytical performance (r = -0.832; p = 0.000). In conclusion, precision and accuracy of QC are significantly associated with the analytical performance of triglyceride testing, with precision showing a more dominant influence. Consistent implementation of QC is essential to ensure the quality of laboratory test results.
