Abstract
Background: Maternal Mortality Rate death in the world in 2015 is 216 per 100,000 live births or estimated 303,000 of maternal death number. West Borneo Provincial Health Office reported that infant death is 638 cases with 90.913 live births, MMR is 86 cases with 90.913 live births. The effort that has been done by the government to decrease the number of MMR and IMR is the accompaniment for pregnant mothers, optimization of network roles to maternity clinic, PMB and related sectors to refer the pregnant mothers to obtain comprehensive care service (Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, 2018).
Purpose: Able to do midwifery care on pregnant mothers, maternity, puerperal and newborns up to the age of 9 months comprehensively through the management approach of midwifery and Varney mindset which realized in the form of SOAP.
Methodology: This study used a descriptive observational design with case study approach to learn about comprehensive midwifery care in Mrs. N and Baby of Mrs. N.
Research Result: This research indicated the result of comprehensive midwifery care on Mrs. N and Mrs. N's Baby from the pregnancy till the Baby aged 9 months and there is no gap finding between the theory and patient's data.
Conclusion: By applying the midwifery care to the pregnant mothers, maternity, puerperal, newborns, and Family Planning, good results are obtained such as the good and safe condition of the mother and the baby.
