Abstract

Background: Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is one indicator that can describe the welfare of society in a country. According to World Health Organization (WHO) data, MMR in the world in 2015 was estimated at 303,000 per 100,000 KH. While the infant mortality rate (IMR) in the world according to World Health Organization (WHO) data in 2016 is estimated at 41 per 1000 KH (WHO, 2018). Anemia in pregnancy is a national problem because it reflects the value of the socioeconomic welfare of the community, and its influence is very large on the quality of human resources. Anemia in pregnancy is called "potential danger to mother and child" (potential harm to mother and child). Anemia by ordinary people is known as "lack of blood". Anemia is a disease in which the levels of hemoglobin (Hb) in the blood are less than normal. Pregnancy anemia is pregnant women with Hb levels <11 g% in the first and third trimesters or Hb <10.5 g% in the second trimester (Fadlun, 2011).
Research objectives: Able to provide midwifery care to Mrs. D with mild anemia and baby Ny. D in Pontianak City.
Research method: Using descriptive observational method with an approach to study Midwifery Care in Mrs. D with mild anemia and baby Mrs. D.
Research Result: At the beginning of the visit the hemoglobin level was 10.8 gr% and at the end of the visit it increased to 11.4 gr%.
Research conclusion: Based on midwifery care that has been carried out from the discussion of Comprehensive Midwifery Care on Mrs. D with mild anemia and baby Mrs. D uses 7 varney steps ranging from data collection to evaluation and conclusions obtained are in accordance with existing theories and after the management of mild anemia of maternal HB.
