Abstract
Background: Comprehensive midwifery care is midwifery care that is given comprehensively, starting from pregnant women, childbirth, postpartum, newborns, and family planning. In the government program, namely reducing the likelihood of a pregnant woman experiencing complications in pregnancy, childbirth, or the puerperium by providing antenatal care and childbirth with clean and safe principles, reducing the likelihood of childbirth complications that end in death or illness through basic and comprehensive essential obstetric and neonatal services (Prawirohardjo, 2009).
Purpose: Able to provide comprehensive midwifery care to Mrs. M and Baby. Mrs. M in The Eqka Hartikasih Midwife Independent Practice.
Method: This study used a descriptive observational research design with a case study approach.
Result: From the data assessment, Mrs. M and Baby. Mrs. M with the care of pregnant women once antenatal examinations in The Eqka Hartikasih Midwife Independent Practice.
Normal delivery on November 26 2019 At 10.25 a.m, babies born with Weight: 4,200 grams, Length: 52 cm. Postpartum with 3 visits and newborns with 3 visits for neonates. Babies get BCG and Polio 1 immunization and the mother chooses to use 3-month injection contraception.
Conclusion: With the implementation of comprehensive midwifery care for pregnant women, childbirth, postpartum, newborns and family planning, the expected results are obtained, namely that the mother and baby are safe and normal.
