Abstract

Background: A 2010 census revealed that the number of maternal deaths in the west borneo provice amounted to 240 per 100,000 live births, while for the national group at 259 per 100,000. This means that the number of maternal deaths in west borneo has indicated a decline and that cases of infant death have been reported in 2018 is 638 with 90,913 living births. So therefore if a baby’s mortality rate is 7 out of 1,000 living births (Health profile of west borneo province).
Purpose: Being able to provide comprehensive midwifery care to Mrs. E and Her baby in Pontianak City Selatan
Methods: The type of research used is descriptive observational case study approach. This research aims to learn about comprehensive midwifery care which is carried out through the obstetric management approach. The subjects in this study were Mrs. E and Her baby
Result: The comprehensive obstetrics upbringing described to Mrs. E during pregnancy, childbirth, nifas and newborn babies have obtained hopeful results such as the healthy, safe condition of the mother and the baby according to the concept of the theory.
Conclusion: By the application of obstetrics to pregnant mothers, childbirth, nifas, newborn babies, and family planning on obtaining such good results as the healthy, safe condition of the mother and the baby.
