Abstract
Introduction: comprehensive care is the management of midwifery from a pregnant woman, childbirth, until the newborn baby so the labor can take place safety and the baby is born safe and healty until the postpartum period. Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) if seen based on maternal deaths that occurred in 2017 in the Province of West Kalimantan, there were 98 cases of maternal death. The policy program carried out by the West Kalimantan Government in reducing MMR and IMR is to assist pregnant women, optimize the role of networks (hospital, maternnity clinics, clinical practic midwives and related sector) increase the capacity of human resources both government and private, optimization of recording and reporting and validation of data coming from the hospital and PMB, issued a policy circular every pregnant women must get comprehensive services for pregnant women covering 10T, the use of MCH books, laboratory examinations, dental examinations, dan nutritional counseling and screaning.
Research Purposes: Be able to provide comprehensive midwifery care to Mrs. S with Shoulder Dystocia and baby Mrs. S in Pontianak City.
Research Methods: Using a descriptive observational method with a case study approach/ Case Study Researh (CSR)
Result: Bassed on assessment data on Mrs. S and Baby Mrs. S With Shoulder dystosia caused by no exsternal rotation and the birth weight of the baby was 4000 grams, body length 50 sm, male alive, noabnormalities.
Conclusions: Based on midwifery care that has been carried out from the discussion of comprehensive midwifery care in Mrs. S with Shoulder Dystiocia and baby Mrs. S use Varney's 7 steps from data collection to evaluation and conclusions that can be obtained according to existing theories and gaps.
