Abstract
Background: Comprehensive care is an examination that is carried out completely with the existence of simple examinations and midwifery care counseling which includes continuous examinations including midwifery care for pregnancy, childbirth, unborn babies, and postpartum period. Based on the results SUPAS 2015, the MMR in Indonesia was 305 / 100,000 live births and the IMR in Indonesia became 22.23 / 1,000 live births (Kemenkes RI, 2015). The research objective was to conduct comprehensive midwifery care for Mrs. H at Pontianak area in 2020.
Research Objectives: Able to provide comprehensive midwifery care to Mrs. H and Baby Mrs. H at Pontianak area.
Methods: Using a descriptive observational method with a case study approach
Research Results: Assessment of comprehensive care at Mrs. H GI P0 A0 on the subjective data, there is no gap between the case review and the theoretical review, namely in the second and third trimester the mother does not have any complaints / does not experience the physiological discomfort of pregnancy.
Conclusion: Conclusions from this comprehensive midwifery care were obtained by performing midwifery care independently and collaboratively and early treatment, and did not find any complications in pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and neonates. It is recommended that midwives emphasize more exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months for newborns and provide counseling to all mothers who have babies about the importance of breastfeeding for the growth and development of babies up to 2 years of age.
