Abstract

Background: Based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO), in 2015 the Maternal Mortality Force (MMR) worldwide is estimated to be 216 / 100,000 live births and the neonatal mortality rate fell 47% between 1990-2015, namely 36/1000 live births to 19/1000 live births. in 2015 (WHO 2015). In 2015 (World Health Organization, 2015). The success of maternal health efforts can be seen from the indicators of the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR). This indicator is not only able to assess the maternal health program, it is also able to assess the degree of public health. IMR in West Kalimantan based on the IDHS results starting in 1994 was 97 per 1,000 live births, 1997 became 70 per 1,000 KH, in 2002 it became 47 per 1,000 KH, decreased to 46 per 1,000 live births based on the 2007 IDHS and fell to 31 per 1,000 KH is based on the preliminary report of the 2012 IDHS. As for the results of the 2010 census, the number of babies in West Kalimantan is 27 per 100,000 KH, while at the national level it is 26 per 100,000 KH.
Research Objectives: Able to provide comprehensive midwifery care to Mrs. D and Baby. Mrs. D with Medium Asphyxia Neonatorum in Pontianak City in 2020.
Research Methods: This study uses a descriptive method with a case study approach.
Results: With the implementation of midwifery care for the baby, Mrs. D with moderate asphyxia neonatorum obtained results from the patient in normal condition.
Conclusion: With the implementation of comprehensive midwifery care to Mrs. D and Baby. Mrs. D with moderate asphyxia neonatorum, the expected results are obtained, namely the mother and baby are in good health.
