Abstract

Introduction: World Health Organization (WHO) in 2017 the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in the world is still high with a total of 289,000 people. Some developing countries have high MMR, one of which is due to premature rupture of membranse, such as in Sub-Saharan Africa with 179,000 inhabitants, 69,000 in South Asia, and 16,000 in Southeast Asia. MMR in Southeast Asian countries, one of which is in Indonesia, is 190 per 100,000 live births.
Objective: To be able to provide midwifery care to mothers in labor with premature rupture of membranes.
Case Report: Midwifery care provided to Mrs. Y at the Sungai Kakap Health Center from 11 December 2020 - 12 December 2020. The subject is Mrs. Y age 38 years GIVPIIIA0 37 weeks pregnant the mother said she had discharge from the vagina, the process of childbirth Mrs. Y lasted for 6 hours 36 minutes and was monitored for 2 hours postpartum, the examination used primary data types. how to collect anamnesis data, observation, examination, cases processed and analyzed and then documented.
Discussion: This case report details the midwifery care of third trimester pregnant women with severe anemia using the SOAP method, Varney's 7-step midwifery management approach as outlined in the SOAP form supported by the role of health workers in finding gaps between theory and practice.
Conclusion: There were no gaps found in the subjective and objective data results. So that after all the data collected, it can be concluded that the analysis and management are carried out in accordance with the theory.
