Abstract

Introduction: Based on data from the WHO (World Health Organization) in 2017. The main complication causes nearly 75% of all maternal deaths are haemorrhage, infection, hypertension in pregnancy (preeclampsia/eclampsia). Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is 70 per 100,000 live births. The high maternal mortality rate is caused by several factors, including hypertension in pregnancy into three major causes of maternal death in Indonesia
Objective: To be able to provide pathological obstetric care in breech pregnant women with chronic hypertension.
Case Report: Midwifery care was given to Mrs. S at Sungai Kakap Health Center from 21 December 2020 – 23 January 2021. The subject is Mrs. S, 43 years old GVPIIIAI breech pregnancy with chronic hypertension, using primary data types. The methods of collecting by anamnesis, observation, examination, case data are processed and analyzed and then documented.
Discussion: This case report details pathological obstetric care in breech pregnant women with chronic hypertension, using SOAP method of obstetric management approach 7 Varney steps as outlined in the form of SOAP, supported by the role of health professionals in finding the gap between theory and practice.
Conclusion: No gaps were found in the results of subjective and objective data. So that after all the data has been collected, it can be concluded that the analysis and management is carried out according to the theory.
