Abstract

Background: Pregnancy, childbirth, and the puerperium are physiological and continuous processes that a woman goes through throughout her life. However, pathological conditions can occur if, during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum, the proper early diagnosis is not made. Midwifery plays a vital role in reducing the number of maternal and infant mortality. In this case, is an early diagnosis of midwifery care based on the patient's needs.
Case Report: Comprehensive midwifery care was performed on Mrs N, 33 years, G3P2A0, from December 11, 2021 to March 9, 2022 at Ida Apianti midwife clinic, Pontianak city. The types of data were primary and secondary. The data collecting methods were anamnesis, observation, examination and documentation. The data were analyzed by comparing the data obtained with the existing theory.
Discussion: This case report details complete midwifery on Mrs N and her baby by using the SOAP method.
Conclusion: Comprehensive midwifery care has been procedurally and completely conducted by using SOAP documentation. There was no gap between the case and theory in the results of subjective and objective data. In short, the analysis and management have been performed in accordance with the theory
