PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PENGOLAHAN DATA NILAI MAHASISWA BERBASIS WEB PADA KAMPUS POLITEKNIK AISYIYAH PONTIANAK

The role of information technology is now indispensable in all aspects of human work, one of which is website media. As is the case at the Aisyiyah Polytechnic campus, Pontianak, data storage and processing such as individual and group assignment values, project assignments and student test scores still use Microsoft Excel, storage and processing of grades using Microsoft Excel is still less effective and efficient because in calculating grades students still use the formula so that a web-based design of a web-based student value data processing information system was made. The purpose of this research is to design a web-based student value processing application which is expected to later be able to help the academic department enter, improve and obtain student final grades so that conclusions can be drawn on grades in each course directly from the system. In this study, the author uses the waterfall method, which is a systematic information system development model. For application design, the UML (unified modeling language) method is used which consists of several diagrams, namely, use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and ERD (entity relationship diagrams).
The results of this study are an application for processing student grades data that has features, namely login, manage profiles, manage classes, manage majors, manage grades and view grades. From the application testing, namely the black box test, good results were obtained, namely as expected and valid, the white box test respondents supported the existence of an information system for processing student value data
