Abstract

Background: Comprehensive midwifery care is provided from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborn and family planning. Midwifery care aims to implement midwives' functions, activities and responsibilities in providing services to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates. MMR in West Kalimantan in 2022 was 120 cases or 142 per 100,000 live births. Meanwhile, the infant mortality rate in West Kalimantan in 2022 reached 593 cases or 11 per 1000 live births. Therefore, support across sectors, programs and health service professional organizations is vital to accelerate the reduction of MMR and IMR.
Case Report: Comprehensive midwifery care was performed on Mrs S. (28 years, GIII PII A0, 39 weeks pregnant) at the Sri Maryani midwife clinic. The type of the data was primas. The data collection techniques were anamnesis, observation, and documentation. The data analysis compared the data found and the existing theory.
Discussion: This case report details the continuity of care for Mrs. H. and her baby using subjective, objective, analysis, and management.
Conclusion: Complete continuity of care has been wholly and procedurally using seven stages of the Varney method
