Background: Comprehensive midwifery care is a procedural midwifery management conducted during pregnancy, postpartum and newborns so that labour can proceed normally and the baby is born healthy. 2019 Ministry of Health data shows that the global maternal mortality ratio (MMR) is estimated at 228 per 100,000 live births, most of which are caused by complexity in pregnancy and childbirth. Family health program records at the Ministry of Health show an increase in MMR from 4,221 cases in 2019 to 4,627 in 2020. The cause of maternal death was bleeding (5.13 cases or 130/100,000 live births). Macrosomia also triggers complications in mothers and babies through postpartum bleeding, perineal tears, perineal tears and cervical lacerations.
Case Report: Comprehensive midwifery care was performed on Mrs N. at the Utin Mulia midwife clinic, Pontianak City.
Discussion: This case report details the continuity of care of macrosomia for Mrs N’s baby using subjective, objective, analytical, and management methods.
Conclusion: Complete continuity of care has been wholly and procedurally using the SOAP method. A gap was found in the subjective and objective data of Mrs N’s baby (newborn haemoglobin level)
