Abstract

Background: Comprehensive midwifery care covers a procedural examination encompassing essential examination and sustainable counselling. This care is done to reduce maternal mortality rates and to enhance accessible quality health services.
Case Report: Comprehensive midwifery care was performed on Mrs S (33 years, GIIPIA0) and her baby from July 22 to February 12, 2023, at the Nurhasanah midwife clinic. The types of the data were primary and secondary. The data collection techniques were anamnesis, interview, observation, and examination. The data analysis compared the data found and the existing theory.
Discussion: This case report details the continuity of care for Mrs. S and her baby using a descriptive case method. It compares the case's basic concepts and the theory applied from the beginning of pregnancy to family planning. The results show both the patients are healthy.
Conclusion: Complete continuity of care has been wholly and procedurally conducted for Mrs. S and her baby using the SOAP method. The research results show a gap in the fourth stage of labour.
