Abstract
Background: Complex midwifery care is midwifery care that is provided comprehensively from pregnancy, delivery, and after birth to the newborn. According to WHO (2019), the world's maternal mortality ratio (MMR) is 303,000. ASEAN has a maternal mortality ratio (MMR) of 235,100,000 live births. One of the causes of maternal death is Oligohydramnios. Oligohydramnios is a condition where the amniotic fluid is deficient/abnormal by 500 ml, causing fetal problems or contamination. Oligohydramnios occurs in 3.9% of all pregnancies but is estimated to occur in around 12% of those born after 40 weeks.
Case Report: Comprehensive midwifery care was performed for Mrs A (25 years, G1P0A0) and her baby from June 18, 2022, to January 22, 2023. The types of the data were primary and secondary.
Discussion: This case report details the continuity of care for Mrs A and her baby, starting from the pregnancy period to the birth control method to ensure the mother and the baby’s health.
Conclusion: The complete continuity of care is expected to reduce the number of MMR and IMR and enhance the patient’s health condition, starting from the pregnancy, delivery, postpartum, newborns and vaccination so that both the mother and the baby are well-treated
