EFEKTIFITAS PENGGUNAAN SERVER NAS (NETWORK ATTACHED STORAGE) SEBAGAI BACKUP DATA BERBASIS PERSONAL COMPUTER DEKSTOP DI POLITEKNIK ‘AISYIYAH PONTIANAK

By looking at technological advances that data storage is needed very large, every day the existing data is always increasing so that the author tries to apply Network Attached Storage technology based on desktop PCs so that access only uses existing networks. Is the use of this NAS server more effective than internet-based storage. In addition to overcoming storage problems, this research was used to procure NAS Server devices at Politeknik 'Aisyiyah Pontianak.
This research process uses a used Desktop PC which is used as a NAS server with OS truenas installed on it. This research report was conducted to show the effectiveness of a NAS server in the Politeknik 'Aisyiyah environment compared to the use of Google Drive. Is the NAS server better in data transfer compared to internet-based storage or google drive.
