ASUHAN KEBIDANAN KOMPREHENSIF PADA Ny. S DAN By. Ny. S DI PRAKTIK KLINIK MANDIRI BIDAN URAI ROSDIANA KOTA PONTIANAK TAHUN 2022

Background: According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the maternal mortality rate (MMR) worldwide in 2020 reached 295,000 deaths. These death factors include high blood pressure (pre-eclampsia and eclampsia), bleeding, postpartum infection, and unsafe abortion (WHO, 2021). Meanwhile, West Kalimantan Provincial Health Office 2019 indicates 115 cases of maternal death in West Kalimantan. The highest death rate occurred in Sintang Regency (17 deaths), while the lowest was in Singkawang Regency (4 deaths) and Bengkayang Regency (4 deaths).
Case Report: Comprehensive midwifery care was performed on Mrs S and her baby at Urai Rosidana Midwife Clinic. The data collecting techniques were anamneses, examination, observation, and documentation. The data, then, were analyzed by comparing the data gathered and the existing theory.
Discussion: This case report details complete midwifery care of Mrs S and her baby using the SOAP method to find the gap between theory and gap.
Conclusion: Comprehensive midwifery care has been wholly and procedurally conducted for Mrs S using the seven-stages of Varney model. However, a gap was found between the case and theory.
