Abstract
Background: Comprehensive Midwifery Care is provided to patients during the pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, delivery, postpartum period, contraceptive installation, newborns, reproductive health services and sexual education. Indicators of public health status include the maternal mortality rate (IMR) and maternal mortality rate (MMR). In 2020, approximately 287,000 pregnant women died during and after pregnancy. From 2002 to 2020, the maternal mortality ratio worldwide decreased by 34%. In Indonesia, there were 4,627 MMR deaths in 2020. Public health data (2021) shows the infant mortality rate (IMR) in West Kalimantan is 8 per 1,000 live births. In 2022, this number decreased to 5.2 per 1,000 live births. Total infant deaths decreased from 616 in 2021 to 522 in 20
