HUBUNGAN STATUS GIZI DENGAN KADAR HEMOGLOBIN PADA MAHASISWA PRODI TEKNOLOGI LABORATORIUM MEDIS POLITEKNIK ‘AISYIYAH PONTIANAK

Hemoglobin levels have an important role in maintaining the health and function of the human body. Hemoglobin level examination is one of the simplest parameters used in determining the health condition of a person with anemia. Low blood hemoglobin levels can lead to anemia. During adolescence is a period of growth, development, both physically, mentally, and activities really need a fairly good intake of nutrients. Nutritional problems such as nutritional anemia, lack of energy, protein, vitamin A, iodine and minerals are occurring and increasing in Indonesia. Of the six problems, nutritional anemia is the most common problem in adolescents. The purpose of the study is to determine the relationship between nutritional status and hemoglobin levels in students of the Medical Laboratory. This research method is Observational Analytics with a cross sectional approach. Sampling of the study used purposive sampling. The population in the study is 64 students in the Medical Laboratory Technology Study Program of the 'Aisyiyah Pontianak Polytechnic. Statistical analysis of the Chi Square test obtained the results of the conclusion that the p value is 0.000 (p<0.05) which means that there is a relationship between nutritional status and hemoglobin levels in students of the Medical Laboratory Technology of the 'Aisyiyah Pontianak Polytechnic
