Abstract
Introduction: Comprehensive care is care provided by midwives from pregnancy, childbirth, newborns, postpartum and until the mother decides to use family planning which aims to provide continuity of care services to prevent complications in pregnancy, childbirth, newborns, postpartum and KB. The aim of comprehensive care is to provide services in a Continuity of Care manner to prevent complications in pregnancy, childbirth, newborns, postpartum and family planning and as an effort to detect complications early as an implementation of responsibility in reducing maternal and infant mortality rates.
Case Report: Care was given to Mrs. M and baby Mrs. M at PMB Nurhasah Pal 5, Pontianak City. The care provided ranges from pregnancy care, childbirth, postpartum, newborns, to family planning. Documentation of care is carried out using the SOAP method.
Discussion: Based on the assessment data, the midwifery care of pregnant women for Mrs. M is in accordance with the standards of care for midwifery services. Mrs. Mrs. M gave birth at PMB Nurhasanah. Delivery is carried out using the induction technique. Midwifery care for babies is carried out directly by IMD at the time of the baby's birth. Babies are also immediately given eye ointment, vitamin K to prevent bleeding in the brain, and after 2 hours they are given HB0 immunization to prevent hepatitis. In newborn babies, there are no signs of kinks, but in umbilical cord care, the baby's central ta;I is wrapped using gauze.
Conclusion: Based on the midwifery care that was provided to Mrs. M and there has also been comprehensive discussion and care for Mrs. M and By. Mrs. M based on Varney's 7 steps obtained from a basic assessment of pregnancy care for Mrs. M and By. Mrs. M there is a gap between theory and practice in the results of TFU examinations and care for newborn babies' umbilical cords
