Background: Comprehensive midwifery care is a complete and periodic examination that aims to identify complications during pregnancy, childbirth, post-pregnancy, and newborns period. In addition, this program helps government to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates globally. West Kalimantan’s maternal mortality rate is 132 per 100,000 live births. Data from Ida Aprianti midwife clinic show several maternal health visits/ services from January to November 2020. There were 121 pregnancies, 54 deliveries, 54 postpartum, and 54 newborns.
Case Report: Comprehensive midwifery care was performed at Mrs S’ house from July 20 to November 30, 2022. The types of the data were primary and secondary. The data collecting methods were anamnesis, observation, examination, documentation, and maternal and child health record book (MHCRB)
Discussion: This case report is conducted using a descriptive case study. It details the midwifery or continuity of care for Mrs S and her baby, encompassing the stages of pregnancy, post-partum, newborns, and contraception.
Conclusion: Complete continuity of care has been wholly and procedurally conducted using the SOAP documentation. There was no gap between the case and theory in the subjective and objective data results. In short, the analysis and management have been done under the theory.
