ANALISA HUBUNGAN RASIO NEUTROFIL – LIMFOSIT (NLR) DENGAN KATEGORI HASIL PEMERIKSAAN Xpert MTB/RIF PADA PASIEN TUBERKULOSIS PARU di WILAYAH KECAMATAN DELTA PAWAN KABUPATEN KETAPANG

Pulmonary Tuberculosis (TB) remains a significant global health challenge. Monitoring immune response through routine blood tests, specifically the Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR), is considered a potential inflammatory marker reflecting clinical conditions and bacterial load. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) and the bacterial load categories of Xpert MTB/RIF examination in pulmonary TB patients in the Delta Pawan District, Ketapang Regency. This research utilized an observational analytical quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. The specimen consisted of 65 pulmonary TB patients selected via simple random sampling. The independent variable was the NLR value, while the dependent variable was the Xpert MTB/RIF result category. Data were statistically analyzed using the Spearman Rho correlation test with SPSS software. Based on the research findings, the average NLR value among subjects was 3.71. Statistical analysis yielded a correlation coefficient of 0.053 with a significance value (p-value) of 0.674 (p > 0.05). There is no significant relationship between the Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) and the Xpert MTB/RIF examination result categories in pulmonary tuberculosis patients.
