Abstract
Bacround: Comprehensive midwifery are examines pregnant women, postpartum, and newborns to ensure safe and healthy, According to the Ministry of Health, Indonesia’s maternal mortality rate (MMR) is still high, with around 6,856 maternal deahs in 2021. The ministry of health has concuted several programs to recude MMR and IMR. They encompass accessible qualified health services for pregrnant women, childbirth training programs for health workesrs, maternal and neonatal care, special care, referral for complicaions cases, and family planning services.
Case Report: Comprehensive midwifery care was performed to Mrs M from October 4, 2022 to March 8, 2023. The data collecting mehods were interview, observation, and documentation.
Discussion: This case report details the midwifery or continuity of care for Mrs M, ensompassing the stages of pregnancy, post-partum, newborns, and contraception using the SOAP method. The results show both mother and the baby are safe and healthy.
Conlusion: complete continuity of care has been wholly and procedurally conducted for Mrs, M and her baby using a-seven stages of varney management. There was a gap between the case and heory in the pregnancy examination
