Abstract

Background: Indonesian health profile data in 2020 states that the causes of maternal death are bleeding, hypertension in pregnancy, circulatory system disorders, infections, and other causes. The cause of maternal death in Indonesia during 2020 due to bleeding was (28%). In 2022, the cause of maternal death in West Kalimantan province was mostly caused by bleeding at 31%, hypertension disorders at 23% and other causes were heart and blood vessel disorders.
Case Report: Data collection in comprehensive midwifery care provided to Mrs. R with a case of postpartum hemorrhage in the Gg Sehat Health Center area of Pontianak City includes anamnesis, observation, examination, and documentation. The type of data used is primary data, with data analysis carried out by comparing the data obtained with existing theories.
Discussion: This case report describes comprehensive midwifery care for Mrs. R using the SOAP method.
Conclusion: Comprehensive midwifery care has been adjusted to Mrs. R needs using midwifery care management with Varney's 7 steps.
