Background: Comprehensive midwifery care refers to care carried out by midwives covering pregnancy, childbirth, BBL care, postpartum period, and use of contraception, to prevent maternal and child mortality (Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, 2020). The government's policy in an effort to overcome MMR and IMR is by increasing the estimated cost of maternal and reproductive health service training activities, the government needs to encourage each region to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates (Nurrizka and Saputra, 2014).
Case Report: This comprehensive midwifery care was carried out at the Sumarsih Midwife Independent Practice, Kubu Raya Regency, starting from December 10, 2023 - February 10, 2024. The data used are primary data obtained through information gathering, examination, observation and data collection. The assessment was carried out by distinguishing between the data found and previous theories.
Discussion: This case report describes the midwifery care provided to Mrs. J with normal delivery using the SOAP method.
Conclusion: Comprehensive midwifery care for Mrs. J and By. Mrs. J has followed the 7-step rule of Varney in the form of SOAP, there is a discrepancy between theory and data in the field.
