Abstract
According to a World Health Organization (WHO) report published in 2014, the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in the world reaches 289.000. Which is divided into several countries, including the United States with 9.300 inhabitants, 179.000 North Africa and 16.000 Southeast Asia. In the Global Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) decreased to 32/1.000 live births in 2015. Prolonged stage 1 labor is one of the direct causes of maternal death, based on data from the international NGO on Indonesian development (INFID) in 2013, the incidence of prolonged 1st stage labor in Indonesian is 5% of all causes of maternal death. This study aims to be able to provide comprehensive midwifey care to Mrs. A with prolonged I and By. Mrs. A in pontianak city region.
This study uses a descriptive method with a case study approach.
Comprehensive midwifery care process applied to Mrs. A with prolonged I stage labor was obtained from the patient in normal condition.
By applying comprehensive midwifery care to Mrs. A with prolonged I and By. Mrs. A has obtained the expected results, namely the mother and baby are in good health
