Abstract

Background: The postpartum period (Puerperium) is the period that begins after the birth of the placenta and ends when the bladder organs return to their original state which lasts about 42 days or 6 weeks during the postpartum period. Mothers experience many physiological and pathological physical changes, one of which is breast milk retention, women Breastfeeding experiences 87.06% of breast milk dams in the world and 37.12% in Indonesia. Breast milk dams can have bad consequences for the mother if not handled properly.
Case Report: Continuous midwifery care delivered to Mrs. S starts from November 12 2022 to November 26 2023. The subject is Mrs. S 32 years old P3A0M0 with ASI dam. The method for combining data begins with anamnesis, observation, documentation and examination. Data analysis involves comparing the data obtained and the theory obtained.
Discussion: How is midwifery care provided to postpartum mothers with breast milk dams using the SOAP system.
Conclusion: Midwifery care takes an approach using SOAP documentation. No differences were found between the results from Subjective and Objective data. Thus, the data found concluded that management was in accordance with the theory obtained
